The House
House of CARICON is the cultural brand of CARICON — the Caribbean Literary, Culture & Heritage Organization. We produce limited-edition books, garments, journals, and objects for the Caribbean diaspora. Everything we make carries a reason for existing. Everything we sell funds the preservation of Caribbean literary culture.
We are not a merchandise operation. We are a cultural enterprise. The difference is intent. Every edition in the House is designed to hold memory, provoke thought, and move through the world as a statement of identity. Our garments carry language. Our journals carry ritual. Our books carry the canon. Nothing is mass-produced. Nothing is restocked. When an edition sells out, it enters the archive.
All proceeds from House of CARICON fund CARICON’s programming: the annual international conference, the CARICON Prize for Caribbean Literature, the CARICON Poetry Slam, the CARICON Resilience Fund, and the Book Club. When you purchase from the House, you are directly sustaining the infrastructure of Caribbean literary culture.
Based in Los Angeles. Rooted in the Caribbean. Built to last the next fifty years and beyond.
